The CAT Prowler is a weekend night shuttle to and from Savannah State University and Downtown Savannah. SSU students ride for FREE when showing a valid student ID. Your non-student friends and neighbors can ride the Prowler, too; they'll just have to pay a fare. We are the safe transportation option for your fun nights in Savannah!

Thanks to a powerful partnership with Savannah State University, CAT was able to organize, plan, and develop this new service. We are proud to offer this shuttle to SSU students as well to the residents in those areas to promote safety and 'green' travel alternatives.

The CAT Prowler provides safe transportation on Friday and Saturday nights for SSU students and nearby residents to and from the nightlife of Historic Downtown Savannah and other key areas. It begins its run at 8:00pm at the New Student Union, and the last trip leaves downtown at 2:00am. This safe, reliable, and affordable service offers a viable transportation option during weekend nights, discourages drinking and driving, and is considerably less expensive than a taxi.
