On Friday, September 11, 2015, Chatham Area Transit will join the nation in observing the fourteenth anniversary of the tragic attack on our country. At 8:46 AM, all revenue vehicles will safely steer their vehicles out of the flow of traffic and park. The operators will then stand outside of their buses for one minute in a moment of silence.
Chatham Area Transit honors those heroes and victims of the attacks and those who rose in response to it with good deeds and volunteer services. We also remember the families of those victims who continue to struggle and cope with this tragedy.
