On Thursday, September 11, 2014, Chatham Area Transit will join the nation in observing the thirteenth anniversary of the fatal attack on our country and the lives that were sacrificed. At 8:46 AM, all transit operators will pull their vehicles out of the flow of traffic and park. The operators will then stand outside of their buses for one minute in a moment of silence.
Chatham Area Transit honors those victims of the attacks and the heroes who rose in response to the attacks through good deeds and volunteer services. We also remember the families of those victims who continue to struggle and cope with this tragedy.
We remember.
