Bike and Ride Free on CAT May 16th

Bike to Work Day bannerBring your bike to work with you on Friday, May 16th and ride CAT for free. In celebration of Bike to Work Day, bicycle commuters can ride free on CAT buses when they bring their bikes and put them on a bus bike rack. Each CAT bus has a bike rack that can accommodate two bikes.

Customers can also enter to win a free 30-day pass by taking a photo of themselves catching a CAT bus with their bike. Then posting the image to Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #catchacat.

As an extra incentive to park the car and get on 2 wheels, CAT Bike 24-hour memberships will be free on Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 16th. A credit card is required to check out a CAT Bike, but the $5 daily membership will be waived. In order to redeem the free 24-hour membership in person, swipe your card and enter code “0516” at the Rivers Exchange or Ellis Square stations. Users can also go online at CATBike.Bcycle.com and enter “biketowork” at checkout. Usage fees still apply.

To enter the drawing for a free CAT Bike annual membership, customers must submit a picture of themselves with a CAT Bike to Chatham Area Transit’s Facebook or Twitter page on May 16th with the hashtag #catchacat.
