The Board of Directors of the Chatham Area Transit Authority invite you to our Open House for the newly renovated Operations and Maintenance Facility located at 900 E. Gwinnett Street. Known throughout town as the ‘bus barn,’ this building is our renamed CAT Central and houses our Control Center, Shop, Call Center, and administrative offices.
We want to share with the community the technological improvements we’ve made to provide better service to Chatham County and surrounding areas. The renovations, funded through grants made available by the Federal Transportation Administration, began shortly after our community Fish Fry/groundbreaking celebration on May 19, 2012. Your chance to explore the Open House will be on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
