Savannah, Ga. –  Savannah Belles Ferry operating hours will no longer be stopping at 8 p.m., since Mayor Van Johnson announced the lifting of the curfew this afternoon. The ferry service will resume operating under the modified schedule put in place prior to Sunday night’s curfew.
Under the modified schedule, the water ferries are operating during a morning shift from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and during an evening shift from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The ferries are running at half their normal capacity and are cleaned after each shift, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
