Chatham Area Transit (CAT) is proud to support Armstrong State University in its latest fundraising event to provide various scholarships to students attending the university.
As a sponsor for this year’s “Paint the Town Maroon” event, CAT staff will join the grand celebration of food, games, prizes and fun in Johnson Square on Friday, April 8, 2016.
CAT will also be offering free rides on fixed route buses to current Armstrong students, alumni, faculty and staff on Friday, April 8th. Those persons wearing maroon to represent the university can simply board the bus. Others participating in the Paint the Town Maroon event who are not wearing maroon will need to show their Armstrong ID to ride free.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the business community, and the community at large, to support our students in financing their higher education pursuits, and CAT is happy to invest in our future.
