CAT Continues Community Connectivity Through Engagement Series

8/22/2025 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) continues its series of community connectivity through CAT Chats: Your Ride, Your Voice – informational sessions designed to engage directly with residents across Chatham County.

The next CAT Chats will take place on Monday, August 25, at the Southwest Chatham Library, located at 14097 Abercorn St. Savannah Ga 31419, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

CAT Chats is a two-part session where CAT meets the community where they are. The first half includes a brief presentation on CAT services, upcoming changes, and projects. The second half is dedicated to public input, featuring an open Q&A with CAT Chiefs and staff along with opportunities for attendees to share written feedback.

“Public transit works best when it reflects the needs of the people it serves,” said Interim Executive Director/CEO Stephanie Cutter. “Through CAT Chats, we’ve been hearing directly from our riders about their priorities and concerns. These conversations help us better understand what matters most and guide how we improve our services.”

All community members are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
