Master Transit Plan
CAT has developed a Master Transit Plan to guide the future of public transportation in Chatham County. The plan will identify long-term priorities to improve service, expand mobility, and meet the community’s evolving transportation needs.
Service Changes
Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) has implemented summer service changes designed to improve reliability and better serve our riders. These updates include schedule adjustments on select routes to enhance on-time performance and overall service efficiency. Riders are encouraged to review the updated schedules before traveling before implementation on Monday, August 31, 2026.Â
