We’re excited to share that CAT is bringing CAT SMART Transit to Zone 2!
Launching on December 15, 2024, this innovative, on-demand transit service is designed to connect businesses, employees, and the community with flexible and reliable transportation.
What is CAT SMART Transit?
CAT SMART Transit is an on-demand Microtransit service designed to connect you to key destinations in the Zone 2 area. With flexible routing and schedules, it’s transit that fits your life!
What is microtransit?
Microtransit is a flexible, on-demand transportation service that uses dynamically routed vehicles to respond to real-time passenger requests via a smartphone app. Unlike traditional public transit, microtransit does not follow fixed routes or schedules, allowing for more adaptive and efficient routing. Like other CAT services, it is used by our ambulatory paratransit riders and is ADA accessible.
