On Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Chatham Area Transit will join the nation in observing the 12th anniversary of the attack on our country, remembering the lives that were sacrificed. At 8:46 AM, all revenue vehicles will safely pull out of the flow of traffic and park. The operators will then stand outside of their buses for one minute in a moment of silence.
Chatham Area Transit honors those heroes and victims of the attacks and those who rose to service in response to the attacks through good deeds and volunteer services. We also remember the families of those victims who continue to struggle and cope with this tragedy.
We will never forget.
