Savannah, Ga. – The Chatham Area Transit Authority will hold its monthly board meeting remotely at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26. During the meeting, the CAT board is scheduled to hold the first reading of the proposed 2021 fiscal-year budget, which begins July 1.
A public hearing also will be held during the meeting to give residents an opportunity to comment or ask questions pertaining to the budget. The public can access Tuesday’s meeting by calling (786) 535-3211 and then entering the access code: 679-920-205.

During the budget hearing, members of the public will be given a chance to speak. In addition, members of the public can send an email to meeting@catchacat.org to submit a question or comment regarding the budget ahead of the meeting.
The proposed budget may be examined on weekdays at the Finance Department’s office at CAT’s administrative building, 900 E. Gwinnett St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at www.catchacat.org/about-cat/transparency/ .
The budget is scheduled to be adopted during the CAT board’s meeting on June 23.
