CAT Mobility Hosts Public Meetings to Address Paratransit Services and Improvements

1/23/2026 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) is reaffirming its commitment to reliable, accessible transportation by inviting riders and community members to take part in our upcoming CAT Mobility public meetings focused on paratransit services.

These meetings are part of CAT’s ongoing effort to listen, engage, and improve paratransit operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to share feedback, ask questions, and learn more about the steps CAT is taking to address concerns and strengthen service delivery.

“CAT is here, we are listening, and we are committed to fixing the issues that matter most to our riders,” said Detric Leggett, Chairman of the CAT Board of Directors. “These meetings are an important part of rebuilding trust, increasing transparency, and ensuring our paratransit services meet the needs of the community.”

Public Meeting Schedule:

Thursday, January 29, 2026
• Midday Session: 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
• Evening Session: 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Friday, January 30, 2026
• Virtual Session (Facebook Live): 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

CAT leadership will be present to hear directly from riders and outline current initiatives and upcoming improvements aimed at enhancing service reliability, communication, and rider experience.

“We know there is work to be done, and we are taking that responsibility seriously,” said Stephanie Cutter, Interim Executive Director/CEO of CAT. “These meetings are not just about discussion — they are about accountability, solutions, and moving CAT Mobility forward with our riders at the center of every decision.”

CAT encourages all paratransit riders, caregivers, and community members to attend one of the sessions and be part of the conversation.
