CAT to Host Second Quarterly CAT Mobility/Paratransit Public Meetings in July

7/28/2026 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) continues to commit to reliable and accessible transportation by inviting riders and community members to take part in our upcoming CAT Mobility public meetings focused on paratransit services.

These meetings are part of CAT’s ongoing effort to listen, engage, and improve paratransit operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to share feedback, ask questions, and learn more about the steps CAT is taking to address concerns and strengthen service delivery.

“Listening is the first step, but meaningful progress comes from turning feedback into action,” said Detric Leggett, Chairman of the CAT Board of Directors. “Our continued paratransit meetings demonstrate CAT’s commitment to transparency, partnership, and continuous improvement. We value the voices of our riders and remain focused on creating a better experience for every member of the CAT Mobility community.”

Public Meeting Schedule:

Thursday, July 30, 2026
• Midday Session: 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
• Evening Session: 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Friday, July 31, 2026
• Virtual Session (Facebook Live): 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

“Our riders are our greatest source of insight, and these meetings allow us to hear directly from the people who rely on CAT Mobility every day,” said Stephanie Cutter, Executive Director/CEO of Chatham Area Transit. “Following the success of our first round of engagement sessions, we are continuing this important dialogue to better understand rider experiences, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure our services reflect the needs and expectations of our community.”

CAT encourages all paratransit riders, caregivers, and community members to attend one of the sessions and be part of the conversation.
