Chatham Area Transit (CAT) is excited to announce the addition of Mr. Gerald Sanders to our CAT team in the capacity of Chief Administrative Officer.
Mr. Sanders brings to CAT over two decades of experience in city and county leadership, with a strong foundation in general administration, project management, process improvement, and analysis.
Mr. Sanders’ career has been firmly rooted in the Atlanta region, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Urban Planning from Morris Brown College, as well as a Master of Public Administration and Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Mr. Sanders to the CAT family,” said Faye DiMassimo, Executive Director/CEO. “His incredible career trajectory and educational background make him an excellent fit for our organization. With his extensive experience, we have every confidence in his ability to lead key areas of our operation.”
CAT is delighted to have Mr. Sanders join the team leading the areas of Procurement, Human Resources, IT/Innovation, Training, Safety, Security, and Risk Management, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion/Equal Employment Opportunity.
Mr. Sanders’ first day will be Monday, October 16, 2023.
