2025 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Chatham Area Transit Authority recognizes its obligation to transport the public in a safe and efficient manner, and to provide a pleasant and clean atmosphere in which to ride. Accordingly, CAT has put into effect the Passenger Code of Conduct.
Please remember that certain behavior cannot be tolerated on the bus or ferry. Individuals exhibiting disorderly behavior, including but not limited to fighting and destruction of property, may not be allowed to board. Our regular passenger guidelines, including no open containers, weapons, or smoking in unauthorized areas, will also continue to be in effect.Â
We are happy to offer these services, and everyone’s safety remains our top priority.
St. Patrick's Day Parade Shuttles
City of Savannah
Chatham Area Transit Authority will provide a $5 shuttle that will service the Savannah area on Monday, March 17. The shuttle will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a (1) hour frequency from the three shuttle locations below:
Walmart at Island Towne Center
- 4725 US-80, Savannah, Ga 31410.
- Riders will be dropped off at Oglethorpe and East Broad
Walmart at Abercorn
- 14030 Abercorn St., Savannah, Ga 31419
- Riders will be dropped off at Oglethorpe and East Broad
Riders can purchase their $5 St. Patrick’s Day Unlimited Pass by downloading the Token Transit App for free. Cash will not be accepted at the shuttle pickup/drop-off locations.

St. Patrick's Day Service Adjustments
The City of Savannah is sponsoring zero-fare service from 4:30 a.m. – 10 p.m., for CAT’s Fixed-Route and Paratransit services on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16.
Reminder: Coolers or large objects are not allowed on CAT’s buses.

Running normal operations, downtown service may be impacted on Monday, March 17
Savannah Belles Ferry
- Running normal operations: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Ferries will not service the City Hall Landing dock after 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 – Sunday, March 16
- The ferries will only serve the Savannah Convention Center Landing and the Waving Girl Landing on Monday, March 17. There will be no City Hall Landing service on St. Patrick’s Day.
DOT Shuttle
The DOT shuttle will cease operations on Monday, March 17, except the 7D-C (Cloverdale).
CAT Connect
Running normal operations.
