In June, Chatham Area Transit will remove a bus stop meant to serve FedEx Ground and other employers at the Morgan Lakes Industrial Park off the Jimmy DeLoach Parkway. The Chatham Area Transit Board on Tuesday approved staff’s recommendation to make a veterans discount program permanent. The veterans program provides a 50-percent discount on CAT services to former members of the military.
