The city is joining forces with Chatham Area Transit to offer a simplified downtown shuttle service as part of a parking and mobility plan. Â This new service, which is scheduled to launch on September 25th, will replace the current dot Shuttle and Liberty Parking Shuttle service.
The proposed routes will run north and south along Drayton and Whitaker streets from Park Avenue to Bryan Street, and east to west along Liberty and Congress streets between Price Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The buses will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
