What is Storytime on the Move About?
Chatham Area Transit Authority is proud to launch Storytime on the Move, a new family-friendly initiative designed to spark a love of reading while introducing children to the joys of public transit.
In partnership with The Dream Big Foundation, Storytime on the Move brings stories to life right aboard a CAT bus, creating a fun and interactive space for kids and families. Each event combines literacy, imagination, and community connection—making every ride an adventure.
Our kickoff event, Transit Superheroes, takes place on Sunday, October 26, at CAT Central. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superheroes for an unforgettable storytime experience on wheels.

- The event is for child(ren) 16 and under
- Families will enjoy an interactive storytime experience while riding through the heart of Downtown Savannah.

- Confirm Permissions: Let us know if you allow photos or videos to be taken of your family during the event. Â
- Join us on Event Day:Â Â Arrive at CAT Central on Sunday, October 26, ready for stories, fun, and superhero adventures! *Participants should plan to arrive for check in by 1:45 p.m.
