CAT Announces Proposed Service Expansions to Port Wentworth in March 2024

Chatham Area Transit (CAT) is excited to announce Port Wentworth’s approval of a proposed expansion of Fixed-Route services to Port Wentworth. CAT Will Cease Operations On Thursday Due To Hurricane Idalia

Chatham Area Transit’s (CAT) suspension of operations will continue on Thursday, August 31st, due to Hurricane Idalia impacts. CAT first suspended operations on Wednesday, August 30. All operations include Fixed-Route, Paratransit, DOT, and the Savannah Belles Ferry. Due to the potential impacts of Hurricane Idalia, Chatham Area Transit (CAT) will suspend all operations on Wednesday, August 30.
