Chatham Area Transit is shutting down Savannah Belles Ferry service early tonight due to an employee emergency. Due to the staffing shortage, the last trip will be departing from City Hall Landing to the Savannah Convention Center at 6:30. Ferry service is expected to resume its regular schedule on Friday.
