At approximately 7:32 AM, officers responded to the intersection of MLK and Oglethorpe regarding an accident with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No further information has been released to CAT officials.  Details of the accident are currently under investigation.

Chatham Area Transit officials announce that fixed-route, paratransit and ferry services will remain suspended on Saturday, January 6, 2018 due to hazardous road conditions. Fixed-route and Ferry service will resume on Sunday, January 7th with a modified Sunday service schedule beginning at noon. Paratransit service will be restored on Monday, January 8th.
